Gilberto Martins (b. 1966) — one of Venezuela's most established shapers, building and repairing surfboards for 30+ years. Workshop in El Rincón, Cerro de Los Blancos in Anare on the Vargas coast (the country's main surf zone, ~30 min from Caracas). Roughly 4 custom boards a month around $500 each, with shapes built flat with minimal curvature for the local Caribbean wave conditions. Older La Urbina (Caracas) address still referenced in some directories.
