Founded in 1967 in Haleiwa by Mike 'Turk' Turkington and Mike Horack — the second-ever surfboard shop on the North Shore (after Dick Brewer's Surfboards Hawaii). Played a central role in the late-1960s/early-1970s Hawaiian shortboard revolution and attracted Dick Brewer, Mike Diffenderfer, Tiger Espere, Barry Kanaiaupuni and Owl Chapman to its shaping bays. Today run by Ed Searfoss (with the label since 1972), focused on high-end vintage surfboard restoration and preservation.
