South Bay San Diego institution on Palm Avenue, run by Tim Townsley — TNT once produced 8–10 boards a day out of a 13th Street warehouse at the brand's 1990s peak, supplying shapers like Dave Craig, Jay Novak and Brett Bender. Manufacturing wound down in 2011 but Tim still shapes custom American-made boards under the Townsley label out of the Imperial Beach shop, alongside the city's surfing heritage and the IB Outdoor Surfboard Museum.
