Edward 'Ed' Madrid is a self-taught Peruvian shaper who started by picking up abandoned boards off the beach and learning shape / glass / repairs in 'el loco Harold's' workshop — now one of the country's reference shapers with 6,800+ boards built since 1990. Workshop in Lobitos, on Peru's northwest coast. Models include The Yakuza, The Project, The Ju26, The Balls, The Haydn, The Clasicc FP, The Clasicc PB and The Bolt single fin. Madrid boards are stocked in Lima, Huanchaco and Lobitos, plus across Chile (Arica, Iquique, Antofagasta, La Serena, Santiago, Pichilemu, Curanipe, Concepción). Customs and full repair work.
