Workshop in Mañón (northern Galicia) run by Zimbabwean-South-African shaper Rory Williams, ex-pro climber and photographer who trained for a decade in New Zealand under masters of 1920s–40s classical shaping. Set up shop next to his house in 2008. Hand-shaped customs from ~€420 and paulownia wooden boards from €2,000+ (he keeps his own small paulownia plantation), plus affordable repairs.
